Courtesy of dr Joanna Śledziowska from Ophthalmology Ward at the Regional Specialist Hospital in Biała Podlaska (Poland) and professor Robert Rejdak from the Department of Ophthalmology, Medical University of Lublin (Poland), I had an opportunity to shadow ophthalmology consultants and watch ocular surgery live (cataract surgery - in Biała Podlaskia, vitrectomy, retinal detachment and strabismus - in Lublin).
